Six Killed Along Iranian-Pakistani Border
According to sources in Islamabad, six Pakistani nationals were shot dead and two wounded after they entered Iranian territory. The men killed by Iranian border guards were reputed to be livestock herders. The incident occurred in an area frequented by Baluchi, nomadic livestock herders who live on both sides of the border. Illegal border crossings by the Baluchi have been a source of trouble between the two countries.
